My students need the colored printer and cartridges to be able to analyze primary and secondary sources. Each student will have access to their own document so they can visually interpret and analyze the document.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher in a low income school district, my students are faced with many academic challenges both in and outside of the classroom. Despite the many challenges, students come to school eager and willing to learn. I am looking to help support students learning in social studies by providing colored copies of primary and secondary sources. In my class, I love to use primary and secondary sources to teach about history. These colored images and documents replace boring old text books! These color images bring Ancient Civilization to life and allow students to learn about history in the most interesting way! Images are a great tool to support the many English language learners and students with disabilities in our school. By creating an environment that supports all learning styles, all children will be successful.

My Project
The colored printer and cartridges will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. As a teacher of Ancient Civilizations, its important to engage students in the material. By printing out the documents students will be using it allows them to interact with historical items. Without a colored printer, students are sharing these documents or using black and white copies. Every document that will be printed will be laminated to ensure they last! (Hopefully as long as the original documents.)
With these colored images, History will come to life!
