My Students

My classes are 6th grade middle school students. I teach six classes of Ancient Civilization to about 220 students with another teacher. Our class is World History from early man to Ancient Rome. I have a variety of students which includes Special Education students. My students enjoy creating hands-on projects which help them remember and learn about World History. My students are very inquisitive, and I try to make History come alive! I love to do as many projects as possible so they learn and remember better.

My Project

Students learn more using tactile projects. Using hands-on activities enriches my students' learning experience about Ancient Civilizations. Students will create their name or message using air-dry clay. They will use their knowledge of cuneiform to create a tablet for Mesopotamia and using hieroglyphics from Egypt on a tablet using stylus and air dry clay while learning about Early civilizations. This enhances my students' learning and creates an exciting learning experience. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and creativity throughout history by making history come alive!
