My students need all of the craft materials - crayons, styrofom, scissors, tempera paint, felt, glue and magnet dots to begin their Bio-Bottle project. These craft materials are needed for a total of 50 students.
My students are beginning to read for information, as well as enjoyment. They are taking all of the information in everyday. Each day brings a new challenge for excitement and knowledge. This comes with a great responsibility to make every moment count.
We are full of pride for our school and our community.
Our classrooms are real world classrooms with various backgrounds and a wide range of abilities. We all work very hard to meet the needs of all students. Activities, at times, are limited by resources. It is my goal to seek ways to provide the students with hands on activities and creative ways to display what they have learned.
My Project
We need all of the craft materials - crayons, styrofom, scissors, tempera paint, felt, glue and magnet dots to begin their Bio-Bottle project. We will begin our Bio-Bottle project with the supplies. The students will study and research famous Americans in our history. They will pick a famous American and construct a Bio-Bottle. After they make an ordinary soda bottle come to life, they will complete a biography and put their project on display. This will give them an opportunity to explore other projects.
The donations will provide all students an opportunity to complete the projects with the supplies needed.
It is my goal to show them that the knowledge that they have gained can help history come alive!
