I work with amazing English Learners in grades 9-12 from all over the world! They are from South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the United States. They all need some extra support in English.
They are learning English and need the tools to help make learning fun, enjoyable, and help them feel connected to the community and the content.
I want to make learning more engaging for them. Please help them realize their potential and let us make learning a authentic experience for them.
My Project
We are trying to teach hungry high schoolers and could use your help to get them fed so that they are ready to learn. Please help our kids by donating a little. We have already spent our personal money and get some donations from a local food shelf, but they are still hungry. We have requested olives, nuts, soup, and breakfast bars. Their bodies and minds are growing, and they need nourishment. Please help us have the materials we need to get them fed! Our students need to be engaged and alert in order for them to learn in school. These students may not get much more than what they get at school. Many of our kids are working long hours and going to school. It is tough. Please help.
