My Students

My students come from a very rural, farming community. They are some of the funniest, sweetest children I have ever worked with. They make me absolutely love going to work. They come to me at a point where learning Spanish is a choice, not an obligation. They are excited and eager to learn. They come to class ready to meet my challenges to them and live to their potential that I see in them. They rise to the occasions and blow me away with their abilities on a daily basis.

My Project

These books will increase the choices my students have when picking a book for Spanish class free reading. I am SO excited to provide them with a chance to read something they choose about a topic they have a personal interest in rather than just being assigned a book they have no interest in reading. This has been a dream of mine for years. I am hoping through this project and generosity of donors that I can make this dream of mine a reality. I have done what I can with my available school and personal funds but this project would allow me to accomplish this goal much sooner.
