My Project
I am requesting audio headphones for our students. Our school and our classroom is 1:1. That is, each student is provided with her/his own Chromebook computing device. Furthermore, our school is a full inclusion school that places students with learning differences in the areas of reading and language within the general education classroom. Chromebooks and internet-connected and help such students access and review their course materials. Oftentimes these materials are in audio or video format. Supplemental resources found online typically also have and audio component. Therefore, my students will gain by using headphones to listen to videos and to digital audio from the internet.
My students will benefit from having ample opportunities to listen to pre-recorded lectures, hear videos from educational websites, and to fully access the vast collection of science educational media on the world wide web with suitable headphone technology.
