High Quality Technology for Listening and Recording
Help me give my students the ability to read along as they listen to books, listen and record using high quality headphones, and independently access numerous apps with sound.
My students are especially active and enthusiastic about school! They love to read and are voracious readers. We are blessed to have hundreds of books at our disposal through amazing apps like Epic and Reading A to Z.
What we need now are the tools to keep students using these online apps and tools independently.
It would be so great for students to independently and individually access educational apps without having to share earbuds and headphones. To use these apps to their fullest and with fidelity, students need their own headphones. Most of my students just don't have the resources to purchase headphones or earbuds on their own.
Additionally, we love to use SeeSaw, ChatterKidz, and other apps to record our thinking about reading, and our writing. Using these apps for Math, Science, and Social Studies enriches our learning beyond explanation.
My Project
We utilize technology as often as possible to enrich curriculum and teach content. SeeSaw, ChatterKids, Notes, Spelling City, and numerous other educational apps help students stay engaged, differentiate content and enrich curriculum.
These headphones and CD players will give students the technology they need to learn independently.
Students will be able to make choices about the medium they use to complete tasks. Technology is not the only option for students in my classroom, but it is part of a differentiated environment where students have choices for demonstrating understanding.
