My Project

After the past two years, students are facing gaps in their learning. Reading fluency is promoted all throughout elementary school, but with the COVID pandemic, classroom books were less accessible to students.

My hope is to enrich my 7th grader's learning with high-interest books.

I plan to teach my standards through these texts, giving students the paper copy of the book in their hands to follow along. Students can learn so much about a standard through a book they enjoy, and most of the time they don't even realize it!
