I teach students with dyslexia. They have struggled for years to learn how to read and succeed in school. They work tirelessly to overcome their dyslexia. They are beginning to explore the exciting world of reading.
Each day they have to face their challenges, but changes are happening.
They have such enthusiasm. I am so blessed to be a part of their journey to learn to read. They are some of the most creative, hard-working kids I have ever met.
My students have dyslexia. They are bright, curious students who want to read and learn more about the world and truly want to learn how to read and comprehend texts that match their intellect.
Hi-Lo books which are high interest and low reading ability give my students the confidence they need to be successful readers.
As part of my dyslexia therapy, students practice reading skills on real texts. These students take what they have learned and apply that to real word reading in a safe and nurturing environment.
Not all guided reading books are the same, these books help my students feel confident and empowered.
