This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Seniors at GWCHS are college bound and we need books that will help expose students to college level literature. Additionally, books inspire us and provide us a vision for a better world.

This project will put high interest, college level books into the hands of seniors so they can read, discuss and be prepared for college level literature.

Most of our seniors will be the first in their families to attend and graduate college. We want our students to arrive fully prepared for the rigor of college. Reading college level literature is one way we can prepare our kids for college success.
