The students at CHES are eager to learn. Our students have diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. They all share a curiosity about those that look and learn differently than themselves.
Our teachers love each student and embrace their differences each day in the classroom.
I would like to add some professional resources to our adult library to help us all understand the reading behaviors of each student reader.
I also would like to be able to talk about high impact strategies to improve instruction for all learners of all levels.
My Project
I will use these professional resources to help teachers in staff development, professional learning groups by grade level, and in coaching conversations with teachers and administrators in my school building and throughout my county leadership team.
Having recent research to reference and help all of us to visualize the systems and structures needed to implement strategies will help us work with students in our school each day.
I would love to inspire others at my school to hone their craft by using these professional resources as references in our staff development efforts.
These books will pair well with our current professional resources.
