This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students love learning and are excited to come to school every day. I work to create a fun learning environment through different classroom transformations, incorporating technology and having flexible seating. I love that my students enjoy their classroom. They express joy and awe when they walk into their classroom. Our students are not provided with state of the art resources and should be given an opportunity to excel in all areas. Our students are loving, caring, and compassionate. They help each other and cheer each other on every day. They inspire me to be a better teacher and I am always looking forward to seeing them every day!

My Project

I want to bring a whole world of technology into my classroom. I want to provide a visual experience when introducing lessons. Students now are used to sitting in the same spot so they can all have access to the projector which is typically not visually appealing or engaging. Smart TV's would allow me to place them all over the room so students can congregate to the TV that is closest to their seat and we can have whole classroom experience. These TVs would be used as a supplementary tool to enhance student learning. Students would have access to two large tablets in the classroom!
