Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
WE LOVE TO LEARN! That is our classroom motto. Everyday, we do chants to celebrate our learning. This is super important to encourage my students to prepare for the day ahead. I have the privilege of teaching in a Title I school in inner-city Chattanooga, TN.
My students have the sweetest old souls and many are acting as parents to their siblings or cousins.
Because of their living situations, my students don't get to have the real-world experiences that other children do. I would love the opportunity to expose my students to fun and exciting experiences.

My Project
Our students have worked so hard throughout the school year and these special students have passed the 3rd Grade Benchmark! This trip is going to be once in a lifetime for them, giving them an experience they have never had before!
We would love to be able to reward our Authors, Mathematicians, and Philologists with a very special trip that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
This is an opportunity to get these students out of the high stress and anxiety environments they are used to, and give them a chance to be kids! We want this trip to motivate our students to continue working hard, so that one day, they can take their own kids on a trip like this.
