Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge. They love being able to show how good they are at something and prove to others that, despite their size or language barrier, they can accomplish any task.
My Project
My students are 5 and 6 year old English Learning students. They are in a notoriously low income area meaning some parents struggle to provide for the basic needs inside and outside of school. Some parents do not have an education themselves. Therefore, the burden falls on the teacher and school.
My project is requesting an array of necessities that our classroom needs so that my students are afforded the best education at the most vital foundational level; Kindergarten.
My students need pattern blocks, play doh, and dry erase markers for their learning centers. I need colored pens for grading and corrections. We need double sided tape to label and hang posters.We need card stock for craftivities. The Teachers Pay Teachers giftcard I'm requesting is so that I'm able to purchase morning work, intervention materials and other fun resources that are created by teachers.
Kindergarten is the year that will make or break a students love of learning. Help support me in instilling a love of learning in my students by donating to my project so that my students have all the things that make coming to school fun, all the while learning with the best resources!
