My Students

My classroom is full of 135 unique students who come into the class ready to learn. Most are from low-income backgrounds but still process the motivation to learn about the world around them.

Questions are a normal part of our class as they are always looking to find more information about things they have barely heard about.

The answers to these questions help students expand their knowledge and inspires them to go out to find even more information that will allow them to learn.

My Project

Hey Google! Can you help us....? Our minds are constantly on the go and we are always looking for answers to questions that come up doing lessons. Getting a Google Home will allow us to quickly ask a question and get a reply when we come across something in our curriculum that inspires us to expand our knowledge with more information. Sometimes when Google Home can't give us an answer or inspires us to expand even wider, a small Chromebook will allow us to go quickly to look it up. Right now, the only computers we have in our room belongs to the teachers. Have a student quickly will allow students to do their own research right in the classroom instead of wasting time going to the nearest computer lab.
