My Students

My students are very interested in technology. They are always looking for different ways to learn with the use of their iPads. We use graphing, games, and quizzing apps in class. I want them to be able to use videos as our next project in class. They enjoy working with each other and sharing their work.

What is special about my students is that they are all unique.

Each girl and boy in my classes has a different personality, learning style, and time in which they understand the material we are covering. I want to give my students the opportunity to learn at their own time and pace.

With the use of video notes from my instruction as well as other recorded sources, my students will be able to review the material on their own. They can choose to see certain topics again or move ahead when they are ready.

My Project

The use of a multi-page color scanner will help me reach all my students at the their pace. I use my lecture notes as an example to create video notes from my students. I then post them on our class website. Students are able to watch the videos and review the materials as needed.

I use multiple colors in notes and example problems, so we need a color scanner in the classroom to capture the notes and then create videos.

The students enjoy the ability to use these videos to enhance their learning. I want my students to have access to the video notes so they can work on concepts they need more time with at their own pace.
