My Students

Did you ever think having too many computers would be a problem? We sure didn't! But now with so many computers, we need headphones so the students can focus on their screens.

Our school is made up of a diverse group of kids.

Just over 75% are eligible for free or reduced priced meals and many do not have access to as many books as we'd like. Our school has two classes each of kindergarten through fifth grade students. In addition we have an on-site preschool and a family resource center.

My Project

Having a class set of headphones will give my students the opportunity to watch videos of our world, listen to books, and practice typing on the classroom computers. Think about how much this can make the world come to life for my kids. They can learn about other cultures as well as their own community. With a class set of headphones, we will be able to provide the children with a wider view our world and more success as they enter their future.

Sometimes urban kids go without.

It doesn't have to be this way. This project will allow our classroom to have super resources for my students to fully utilize our classroom technology. Just what is needed to generate excitement!
