Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Are you a book worm? I sure am and I hope all 30 of my students will be too by the end of 5th grade. I would like to introduce them to a more intimate and interactive book experience, with their own book. I would like to start soon and would enjoy having them read the Newbery Award winner by Beverly Cleary, Dear Mr. Henshaw. I loved this story and it is simple enough for my English language learners to do exceptionally well for our first, in depth, work with chapter books for the year. I am requesting 30 copies of "Dear Mr. Henshaw" for each of my students. Please help me make this happen! Thank you!
