The students in my classroom are unique and special. Every child learns differently and every child should be able to achieve their greatest potential. When a student walks into my room I want them to be excited about what is ahead of them.
I come from a Title l school in WV with a low socioeconomic status background.
The majority of our school population receives a free or reduced-price lunch. We have many students who leave school and may not get to see their parents when they get home. They may not have that extra help provided to them. Our students are amazing. They love to learn and to succeed. I love to watch them succeed. This is one of the many reasons I became a teacher.
My Project
Lulu is our newest addition to our classroom this year. The students are head over heels for this little ball of fluff. Lulu is outgrowing her cage. She doesn't have much room to to stretch out and we are pretty sure she is going to continue to grow. The students have decided they wanted to create this project to help Lulu.
Lulu is a part of our third grade family.
The students have been researching different kinds of cages, bedding, food and toys that Lulu would be able to use. We took our ideas and have created this wonderful project.
