Help me give my students need a variety of items such as college items, laminating pouches, tabletop frames, and birthday bracelets to start the year off strong.
The students at my school are incredible. Ours is a Title I school with approximately 50% of our students receiving free or reduced-price meals each day.
My students are working hard each day to master the skills required of them in school, and I want to do all I can to make sure they have the tools they need.
I appreciate your help in meeting the needs of my students, and I know they will appreciate your help, as well.
My Project
We need a variety of items to start our year off strong. We first need a variety of college items for the room to show the students that thinking beyond high school starts now. They'll be able to see the lanyards, cups, banners, etc. and get motivated. Then, we need laminating pouches to protect lesson materials to be used in centers each day. I will laminate fraction pieces for a math center, words for a language arts center, etc. Next, we need the tabletop frames to hold various information that the students will throughout the day. The information will be sentence stems, math rules, vocabulary rules, etc. It'll be a great reference for them to use while I'm teaching and they're doing daily activities. Last, I need birthday bracelets. Who doesn't want to announce that it's their birthday?! These bracelets will be a fun way to say we're thinking about you on your special day. These are various items that are...here and there...but are greatly needed for an exciting year!
