Help...We Have Two Osmos & No iPads to Use Them With!
My students need two iPads to use during our center based Math and Language Arts blocks with our two class Osmos.
This project expired on March 6, 2016.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."-Benjamin Franklin.
My centers based classroom is an environment where everyone that enters is involved. We make learning fun and engaging for all!
Our classroom is a Young Fives/Kindergarten blend.
The academic and behavior level of the 21 students in my room is a very large range. I have students that are reading independently and others that are still working on the letters in their name. Our school is a PK-1 building and is an awesome, child friendly environment where everyone believes in the power that young people bring to the world!
I am requesting two iPad Minis to use during our Math and Language Arts centers with the two classroom Osmos I purchased at the beginning of the year. The iPad/Osmo combination will help me further differentiate instruction as the children work at their individual levels. In order to use an Osmo with an iPad it requires no case. I plan to have these two iPad Minis set up at stations in my classroom where they will be specific to the Osmo. I will, however, keep my eye out for a good case or two so we can eventually use them in other areas around our classroom. However, right this moment we are very anxious to try out the Osmo!
I am a strong believer that technology isn't the end, it's a means to the end.
By receiving the donation of two iPad Minis I will be able to continue meeting my learners' needs and helping them meet or even exceed our grade level standards. Wouldn't it be awesome if you could say you were a part of our classroom journey where everyone is involved!
