Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are amazing and I teach about 70 of them each semester! These students are entering a world where the digital realm reigns. Utilizing these possible resources will help to give them the edge they need for their future!

I teach economics and share electronic resources with the rest of my department.

As such, accessing these electronic resources isn't always a guarantee and the need to plan out when I can do simple things like teaching how to fill out a tax form can be somewhat taxing.

My Project

Using these Chromebooks will help my students learn in the world they are going to be entering after graduation. These Chromebooks will be a defining chapter in their education that sets them above and apart from their peers!

Getting these Chromebooks in my room will be a permanent addition to my teaching curriculum that will only benefit my students in both their learning environment as well as their future endeavors.

My students are mostly seniors who who have grown up in the digital age. They are used to having the wold at their fingertips and will need this practice in dealing with the digital world as they enter the world after graduation.
