I teach school in a rural Jr. High setting with students of many diverse backgrounds. I have the opportunity to teach 8th grade science to these students and they love to see how science works all around them. With these supplies we will be able to show how light influences the colors that you see, keep the labs organized with the cart, and what science looks like when it comes to life.
I also get the amazing and unique opportunity to teach a fly tying and fishing class.
With these new vises will help us do that and increase the number of students who are able to take the class. There are many who would love to take the class but are unable because of the limited amount of tool that we have as resources.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
My Project
My project is to help see how science and and nature can affect their everyday life. it is to help them get off the couch and into the outdoors to see where science is everywhere. With this project I will be able to help teach more students the art of fly tying and how to improve their odds when fish.
Help students see how science can come to life.
They can see it all around the from the clothes that they where to the electronics that they are always on.
