This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is a loving community full of eager learners. Every single student in this classroom is hungry to push their thinking, learn more, and read all they can. My students are hard workers that crave learning. They guide their learning and pursue their interests. In this class, we wonder and we explore. We ask questions and we try to find answers. We make friends and build community.

As lovers of learning and full of zest for life, our community of 24 6/7 year olds grows stronger every day.

Our classroom is full of hard workers that are incredibly eager to learn more.

My Project

My students need the appropriate shelves for their learning. In a classroom of 24 6/7 year olds, this means having everything labeled and organized. However, we don't have the shelves that would organize our library and independent word work. The shelves would allow us to put all books in the right bins and organize our supplies.

The shelving units will help organize our classroom to maximize our learning.

Our materials are currently all over the classroom because we can't afford the appropriate furniture. This would allow students to take their learning to the next level and get right into stations.
