My Students

I currently work with 7th-grade students who are autistic. My students are a great group of students who makes teaching a uniformed event every day. These students come from various walks of life. No one student is the same.

My students are very inquisitive and they most certainly will keep you on your toes.

Flexible seating is so needed for students who are on the spectrum. This will allow my students to be able to choose where and whom they choose to work.

My Project

These flexible seating will enable my students to learn in a comfortable environment. The flexible seating will help with sensory input and will aid in focusing and processing of information. For example, when my students have ELA for a double period, flexible seating will allow my students to work in groups or pair up during a fishbowl assignment.

Flexible seating will be beneficial for my students who are autistic and they are on different parts of the spectrum.

Flexible seating is a universal solution that will benefit all of my students. As their teacher, I want to ensure that our classroom is conducive to learning.
