My Students

Many students are diagnosed with asthma and this can cause many health problems such as frequent absences. I want to help my students be able to breathe easier while they are sitting in my room.

I teach sixth graders in the poorest congressional district in the US.

Not only do my students suffer from poverty they also extremely poor air quality in our city. This is often the reason why my students suffer from asthma. Asthma makes it difficult for my students to breathe and causes them to be absent frequently. When my students are absent they are losing precious learning time.

My Project

I want to make my classroom a safe place where my students can breathe easy. I donation of an air purifier can help them breathe cleaner air. Our school building is a very old building with very old dust that always seems to settle. Now that winter is coming we will not be able to keep the windows open to circulate that stale, dry, dusty air. My asthmatic students need help to keep their air clean. The air purifier will help them breathe cleaner fresher air.

Only you will be able to help my students breathe better.
