Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school motivates students to become leaders. We use the 7 Habits. My students are proactive. They come to school prepared and eager to learn. As a class we synergize and work as a team.
We have six awesome students in our class.
They strive to reach their learning goals every day. We think with the end in mind and put first things first by being proactive. We could conquer just about anything we put our minds to. Education and technology are the keys to success.
My Project
The materials I am asking for will really help my students interact with each other in positive ways.
Resources are limited in Title I schools and having these particular materials will teach my students social skills through movement and kinetic activities.
They will use wobble chairs to control their motions while learning to focus. They will use balls to take turns and share. The alphabet games will combine academics with social skills development.
There are a lot of students in special education in schools and they do not always have adults that understand them. In the program I assist, students struggle with emotional disturbances and sometimes that prevents them from being able to participate with general education students.
Please consider providing these materials for me so I can continue to help the students in my class building meaningful relationships and positive interactions.
