My Students

Remember when the first piece of new technology arrived at your school and everyone wanted to try it? Our district is introducing GAFE (Google Apps For Education) next year and our students want the best technology available to use these apps.

Our students come from a variety of social and economic backgrounds in one of the most diverse communities in the country.

Their families are working class who strive to provide the best they can for their scholars. Because of our schools location and social status, we do not have a strong fundraising PTA nor do we qualify for a Federal funds that go towards technology and other resources. Therefore, we are resolved to being creative in how we get our resources.

My Project

My students are going to be able to maximize the use of their new GAFE accounts by learning how to use them with the technology that was created to work seamlessly together. As they get a chance to use the Chromebook, it will help our leadership determine if this is the best technology to purchase in the future.

Your donation to this project will provide students with access to new technology that they can use to research, word process, create, and present learning.

The more technology that they can become familiar with, the better chances of academic success.
