My Students

My classroom is part of a Title I district located in Batavia, Ohio. Our elementary is a small school with students who love to learn and be a part of a community. Right now, many parents are struggling to make ends meet and many of my students do not have the proper supplies to complete their daily school work. I am asking for donations so that headphones can be purchased for my class. Many of my students' headphones were purchased at the dollar store and fall apart very easily. I would like my students to have high-quality headphones that can stay with my classroom so that they can complete the online portions of their work.

My Project

These headphones will allow my students to fully hear and access the materials needed for the online portion of their learning. These programs allow for both enrichment and reteaching of the grade-level material, thus making a difference in their learning experience. The programs that they get to take part in helping build their background knowledge and literacy skills. Online learning also builds their number sense and mathematical competency. Students will use these headphones to gain access to Science and Social Studies materials. These are essential elements in any classroom to help close the COVID gap.
