My Students

My students are mostly from non-English speaking households.

Some of my students have just arrived in the United States with parents who do not speak English.

Despite the many challenges they face, they come ready each day to learn and play with the most positive attitudes.

It has been a true blessing to watch my students learn and grow. A day in our classroom consists of enthusiasm, energy, and excitement. Every accomplishment, big or small, is celebrated. We love to learn through play and hands-on materials.

My Project

Our class has started using our laptops and iPads. We need to be able to do our work independently. It will help to have headphones so that we can all listen to our own work quietly. We will be able to hook our headphones to our desk and use them at our seat. It will be wonderful to be able to complete our math exams, as well as access tons of books. We can use these headphones in Reader's Workshop as well. We will be able to read the same books as our friends.
