My students need headphones to use with their iPads to help them master the reading programs we use in class. These reading programs are personalized so students can work at their own individual pace.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are super hard workers that want to succeed! They are working to learn reading, writing, math, and everything in between! These young minds are ready to soak up everything and anything!!
These little sweeties love to create, share, and show off their amazing work!
They are interested in the world around them and want to grow their knowledge base to include many new ideas! Yipee!

My Project
Students use headphones in our class for individual use on iPads. We have reading and math programs that are individualized to each students' needs.
Each student would greatly benefit from having headphones so they can hear and learn appropriately.
Success would be easier to reach with headphones for listening to our reading curriculum to reviewing a story read in class to learning how to code. My students work on spelling and math programs as well.
In addition to being able to complete on their own work, students would be able to work better in small groups if headphones were available. My classroom is currently very noisy without the aid of headphones. When every student is running their program, it is very difficult to meet with a student one on one or within a small group. The level of focus and attention is not what it should be because the noise throughout the room is so distracting.
