Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing little human beings. This year back from distance learning has been magical. I cherish the relationships I have built with my students and I am so grateful for the memories we have made this year. During our instructional time we work in small groups and in some groups they work with technology where they need headphones to focus on their learning tasks with the computer or leapfrog reading pens. My students have been using headphones that were left in this classroom last year.
Students have been coming up to me to ask for new headphones because their current headphones have stopped working and I have no extra headphones to give them.
Right now some of our students have been using technology without headphones which causes distraction among my students. I feel disappointed I can not give them what they need.
If you donate you would be allowing my students to focus on learning tasks while allowing me to work with small groups of students who need extra support. Our class and future incoming classes would be so grateful to use headphones that work.
