Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very special to me because I know that when they are with me they are in a safe place. They are in school to learn to become smart individuals. My students come from high poverty homes. These students live a life full of fear and sometimes see things that are not appropriate for their age. They look forward to coming to school because they know they can trust their teacher and are in a safe place. Help me give my students a better learning experience in donating learning materials for my precious students.
My Project
My project will provide students to be organized. All books will be organized by levels in the bins I'm requesting. Students will be able to directly read books at their own individual levels. This is good for students because they will not waste time looking for books. They will know their level and have access to an entire bin with books. Please help my students be organized.
The nonfictional books will help my students learn about land forms and maps.
This is one of the social studies standards for second grade. My students will be so happy if they get these materials in their class because it will provide them with books to read.
