At our school, we are transforming lives by developing kind, compassionate leaders, problem-solvers, and productive citizens in our world. The cultivated learning environment is designed to prepare students to be enrolled, enlisted, or employed after they leave our school. More than half of the students receive free or reduced price lunches.
My students are eager to learn.
My students enter the classroom ready to learn, do their best, and discover. In our class, we build a community around what we share in common. My students like to have fun in the classroom, but also work with each other during stations.
My Project
In our class we are very fortunate to have an IPad for each student that is provided by the district. However, the headphones that were provided to me are old, and many of them are broken. Having a class set of headphones for each student will allow the students to be successful in their learning. Each student will be able to keep them in their cubbies to use when it is IPad time, or when we go to the computer lab to play on the program Lexia. Many of the students are unable to afford their own to bring to school. Having these headphones will be a great asset to the classroom.
