My Students

I am a fourth year teacher that is in need of more writing activities to help my students. My kindergarten students love to write to but need help with their handwriting.

My students struggle when it comes to writing.

These wipe off boards will help them begin writing on lines and if they make a mistake they can just wipe it off. The red baseline lets them know where their letters need to stop. The paper will be using during writing time where they will be able to illustrate and then write about it with the help of the red base line. My students that will need extra practice will be able to use the large writing mat to help them with handwriting. Towards the end of the year my students will be able to start writing books with the picture story paper.

My Project

They will get to see writing demonstrated and help in the process through interactive participation. I will be able to write in front of my students and they will be able to copy me on their own board. I hope to light the fire of writing in my students as my teachers did for me.

You can help to give them the self-confidence needed to effectively write and advance to first grade.Please help not only improve the writing skills of my students but help my students understand the pleasures of writing a book!
