This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third graders attend school in a high-poverty rural district. School can be tough, but these students face numerous obstacles everyday that make learning even tougher! Even though life may be challenging, these third graders come to school ready to learn!

My third graders are a group of amazing kids!

With state testing in their future, it is my goal to supply them with as many materials as I can to assist them in become proficient, competent, and passionate learners!

My Project

Being a kid is hard! However, being a student in a grade that requires state testing is harder. Our students have to remain focused for large task, and for some of them, that can be close to impossible.

Sometimes we just need a little "wiggle" to help us work.

To help all students try their very best, we are asking for two wobble stools to add to our classroom. These stools can help channel anxiety, frustration, or abundance of energy by rocking gently and giving students the focus they need. Wobble stools will greatly help any student who may need a way to increase their attention, focus, and engagement.
