Help me give my students wobble chairs as an option to sitting in regular chairs! We wiggle a lot in Kindergarten, and need something that will allow us to sit and complete table work, while not being disruptive to our peers.

My Students

We are a new charter school, opening this Fall. Students from all corners of our city will be attending this uniform school; a school that fully supports the philosophy of whole child development.

We are a diverse population, not only with varied ethnicities being represented, but also a school with a wide range of economic differences.

We believe economic circumstances of parents should not preclude the ability to choose high-quality education for their children. Our mission is to build an educational community that emphasizes a love of learning, and inspires and empowers students to reach new summits.

My Project

We LOVE to learn, and we LOVE to wiggle in Kindergarten! Each day we sit for short periods of time to complete our learning activities. While sitting, many of us get the "wiggle waggles" and are not comfortable in regular classroom chairs. We need a seat that will help us stay focused and engaged in our daily learning. What it really boils down to is needing a seat, like these wobble chairs, that will allow us to move (wiggle) while completing our writing, math, and reading work, all the while not disrupting our peers sitting near us. This type of flexible seating will greatly benefit the students in my class, who need an opportunity to wiggle while they work.
