This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Critical thinking, creative problem-solving and effective collaboration among my students are just a few practices that we focus on in our WOW-TV Broadcasting club. Throughout the school year, the students work together to achieve goals by researching, communicating, and testing out their ideas.

The WOW-TV crew members persevere through the challenges presented to them because they know that hard work and determination ultimately pays off, not necessarily in monetary or in material forms, but in the satisfaction of accomplishing goals and building each other up in the process.

My Project

Our crew members will be able to their new camcorder and conduct on-site interviews to bring current and relevant news to our school campus community!

By having the necessary tools, our students are able to practice their communication and writing skills in a hands-on way and practical way which directly enhances our school curriculum and enriches student learning.

The students are able to bring back their experiences and transfer their learning from the classroom to real-life situations and events. This is all done in an engaging way that involves all students participating! Please help us by funding our project! Thank you!
