My students need dry erase markers, printer ink, and an air pump to help us use all the wonderful supplies we've received from DonorsChoose so far!!
My class has been so fortunate to receive funding for supplies through DonorsChoose in the past. However, some of the donated supplies we have been using need refills so we can continue to utilize them in our classroom.
My students are seventh and eighth graders with special needs ranging from Autism, emotional handicaps, cognitive impairments to ADHD.
Our school is a science, technology, engineering and mathematics magnet effectively serving students who live in high poverty households. Ninety percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Through innovative programs, we are showing some of the most rapid growth in the state as measured by standardized test score improvement.
We have been fortunate enough to receive funding for multiple DonorsChoose projects so far. We received a color printer/copier to use in class to make quick copies and print our data with color-coding. We need ink refills so that this can continue to be a valuable resource in our room. We also have received multiple exercise balls to give us options for seating in our room. However, they deflate after so much use. The pumps that come with them are cumbersome and take a long time. Having a small electric air pump would save us tons of time and help keep our furniture functioning. Lastly, we need refills for our dry erase markers so we can continue to use our white boards for class activities.
We have come to love the supplies donated from DonorsChoose and use them everyday to help us be successful!
In order to continue our success and growth, we need these various refill supplies!
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
