My Students

My students are K-5th-grade students from a small town. Many of them have not traveled out of the area, let alone out of the state. They love to know about the world they live in and about other children their age.

Excitement for learning describes the students in my classroom.

They have a desire to know more and learn more. I love the smiles on their faces when we explore something new. It is great when they come back the next day and tell me how they shared the previous day's class with their family.

My Project

Making learning fun is a great way to teach. These breakout boxes will help with problem solving, teamwork, and reinforce concepts all in one!

Students love to learn in new and exciting ways.

The breakout boxes help with this task. As problems are solved by working together the students realize the importance of teamwork. They would love being a "detective " in order to open the locks.

While completing the tasks the students are learning without the traditional drill and redo. Everyone will love the excitement that is created by this method of learning. It will reach all types of learners.
