My Students

My students are hard-working and motivated every time they come into my band hall. They constantly are putting their best foot forward on every exercise I ask them to do.

These students come from all backgrounds to achieve one goal for the program.

They want to be successful, and they put the effort in every day of the week. The school they attend has a rural feel to it, but their mindset, attitude, and work ethic are right out of a large school atmosphere.

My Project

The tuners and pickups purchased through this project will help ensure each student has a tuner to use to help them understand that their tuning is important and can always use some work. We have not had the opportunity to work with individual tuners until now. The supply that we have is mostly damaged by battery acid and this project will help replace most of that stock. After one day of a few students using tuners, we have already made significant improvements in tuning and student improvement. These tuners will be used daily and during several class periods throughout each day.
