My students are great kids who love reading, playing, discovering new facts and PLAYING MUSIC!
They come from different countries from around the world: Italy, Germany, Colombia, Chile, Spain, and Costa Rica.
They are a fantastic group, and we are having so much fun together. Each student is provided an instrument by the district as we strive to offer instrumental music to each and every student at Amigos.
Moreover, we belong to a bilingual program where we learn English and Spanish, so everything we do in our class is in both languages. It is challenging and really exciting to see how they learn in both languages.
Additionally, I travel to several different schools, so your help and generosity will not only make a difference here but at 8 other schools too!

My Project
Currently, we use wire stands in our band and during concerts. The wire stands are bent, so music is leaning, and they fall over very easily. Every class, music falls off several times and at least a few get knocked over by the slightest accidental touch.
Help our band look good for performances and better prepare during rehearsals with music stands that are sturdy and look great!
Students will use music stands for rehearsals and performances. These are sturdy stands that will be used daily and will be kept in good repair. They are needed to hold the students' music and will look great in our classroom.
The music cart will help keep the room organized and stands safe. It will also help us transport them from the room to the auditorium for concerts.
