Our school serves students in 9th-12th grade. Our school has several handicapped students that are given the opportunity to go out in the community and work for pay. We do not tolerate bullying and encourages all students to help each other. There are several programs in place for the needy where they can receive canned goods, as well as clothing. We also participate in many sporting events that are held at our school which includes the Special Olympics for our Exceptional Children.
My students are in the self-contained class and function on a Kindergarten to first grade level.
My Project
My students need the requested Little Leveled Readers and a Level Library Set 3 book set so they can read on their own level and step up to the next level when they complete one on their own.
They also need hands-on materials to help them with their math mastery.
I'm requesting Hot Dot pens, and Addition, Money, and Flash Cards Power Quiz Cards. My students enjoy hands-on activities, such as the Hot Dot kits, in which they get to touch the answer with a pen so they're not only learning math, they are also working on pen grip. They enjoy working with Hot Dots in science and I think the Hot Dot math sets will help them master their math concepts.
The Daily Math Practice Journals will be perfect for their morning work. This journal will be a refresher from the days before math lessons.
