Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are a group of diverse and high-achieving kids who come to school ready to work hard and learn every day. They are a great community of learners, and they have so many questions about the world around them!

As a math and science teacher, it is awesome to have students who love to learn and have inquiring minds.

They get so excited when they know we are going to be doing experiments or using manipulatives because hands-on learning is so meaningful to them. They really are amazing kids!

My Project

As everyone knows, this year has been far from "normal." Last year was abnormal as well, since we had to quit going to school with 25% of the year left! As you can imagine, all of this missed school and craziness has impacted the learning of our students. Despite these challenges, we still have the state testing at the end of the year to show all that the kids have learned.

This is why I desperately need fun and motivating activities to help prepare my students for these mandated state tests!

By providing me with this gift card, I will be able to buy materials made by other teachers to help ensure that they are ready for these challenging assessments. Thank you so much for your support!
