Help me give my students the opportunity to use Oculus Virtual Reality Headsets to explore different types of historical parks and international cultural sites, such as the pyramids in Egypt and the Amazon Rain Forest.

My Students

The majority of my students come from low socioeconomic households. They face a variety of obstacles every day, including poverty, hunger, drugs, and the possibility of future jail time, unless they change the course of their lives. Many people think these students are facing insurmountable odds. I hope to be a beacon of light, and transform their lives, one student at a time.

Despite these many obstacles, my students are motivated learners and are especially interested in learning skills that pertain to their interests.

My Project

The use of the Oculus VR Headsets would help the students learn about the history of the national historic sites and different cultures in different parts of the world. The Oculus VR will allow the students to see what it is like to see a national park or allow them to see a place that is not in the United States, that they may never see in their lifetime.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but it will also allow our students to see different parts of the world without actually being there.

The first and foremost thing is I want my students to experience national historic sites and different cultures in a way where they seem like they are actually there. Most of my students do not travel outside the town they live in. I hope that it will help them understand how things are different in all places.
