Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

We desperately need storage racks for our cellos and string basses. Before my tenure at the school, a generous grant was awarded that allowed the school to purchase string instruments. The instruments sat in the room until I started teaching at the school last year. The students and I decided to start an orchestra. They simply love playing their instrument. Our cellos and basses are currently bagged and stored in the back room. It is very hard for students to access their instruments and the removal from the back room causes quite a bit of unnecessary wear and tear. We know we are very lucky to have the cellos and basses. Magical musical moments happen every day. Please help us buy two cello racks for 12 cellos total and one bass rack for 4 basses. By having these racks, our cellos and basses can live long and healthy lives thus ensuring strong and happy musicians in our high school. We appreciate your concern.
