Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are special because they come from all over the world. They are diverse in their culture and learning. They all have so much uniqueness and love to offer.

My students are important and they are the future.

It is necessary that I provide them with the best learning opportunities possible. It is my job to expose my students to ways of learning that they will remember and that will encourage them to pursue jobs in STEM (especially science).

My Project

Students will use the flash drives requested to save the code they write in computer science class. Since we have limited storage on our computers we will use flash drives to store our work.

Students are so excited to write algorithms and use code to solve problems in the real world, such as designing something that will benefit people who like to exercise outdoors.

Having the flash drives will allow students to keep their work organized and allow them to feel safe that others cannot access and use their work. Computer science is new to our school, and students are so excited to take this course.
