My Project

The solar eclipse glasses I am asking for in this project will allow the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at my low-income school to experience a once in a lifetime event of totality during the upcoming solar eclipse.

My students learn about space and the reasons we have eclipses, and what an amazing opportunity to see the solar eclipse happening live!

Without these glasses, which average about $1/student, we would not be able to go outside or look out the windows to watch our learning come to life. What an amazing opportunity these students would have, made possible by the glasses.
