My Students

I teach 6th grade science in the South Bronx. I love it. What more can I say? I never intended to become a science teacher- it was an opportunity that I had and I just wanted a challenge.

Science is a class which the kids just love.

It's hands-on and FUN! What could be better than that? I work in a very challenging neighborhood, where the population tends to be extremely underprivileged. Having access to the appropriate supplies isn't always easy. This amazing website has helped my classroom over the past ten years in the most amazing ways.

My Project

Our Elementary and Middle schoolers are deeply committed and involved in a school wide recycling initiative. In order to bring this to fruition, students are requesting various recycling bins to place around the school to help support parents, staff and students in their recycling efforts.

They are so excited to get started- they even searched all of the different bins on Quill to decide which ones would best serve our school community- JUST in time for Earth Day!

This is our way of giving back to the planet. Thank you so much for whatever help you can offer for our project. We love our donors choose donors!!!!! THANK YOU!
