My Students

Our students are fantastic! They come from a variety of backgrounds which makes the classroom a very diverse environment. The school is in an urban setting where we have many ELL students. There are over 700 preK-6th grade students at our school. Many of them do not have access to healthy meals, so the school runs a food pantry for students to take food home over the weekend.

These students want to do well, but many lack the tools needed in order to succeed.

My Project

We need toner in the classroom in order for the students to print for projects. We also need toner so that I am able to print homework and other work created on the computer.

The only printer my students and I have access to is the one in my classroom that I obtained through donorschoose.org.

In order for me to keep using the printer, we need more toner! The toner is just about gone because we print everyday. Students are able to print pictures or information for their social studies projects and they are also able to print their lengthy writing assignments. In addition to toner, we have used up our colored computer paper so we need more paper in order to print all of these awesome things!
